Meet our Founder & Designer

Abigail Picton-Turbervill is a multidisciplinary designer and artist whose work fuses illustration, textiles and fashion into an unapologetically bold creative vision✨

Her artistic journey began in South Africa where she earned a Diploma in Visual Communications (2010) - a qualification that ignited her lifelong passion for illustration and photography📸✍️

Soon after, she moved to London, where the city’s raw energy, historic architecture and gritty charm deeply influenced her evolving aesthetic. Immersed in its creative scene, she spent years drawing, photographing and experimenting, developing the distinctive edgy and expressive style that defines her work today🖤

In 2013, Abigail relocated to Cardiff to study Textile Design at Cardiff Metropolitan University, graduating with a 2:1 for her final show - a vibrant collection of wild, free and energetic activewear, combining hand illustration, painting and digital design 🎨🧵

Drawing on her South African upbringing, British heritage and Māori roots, Abigail has since channelled her diverse influences into her signature brand, House of Untamed - a celebration of individuality, freedom and rebellion🐦‍🔥

Her designs embody high end craftsmanship with untamed spirit, uniting art and fashion for those who dare to stand out in the crowd💫🔥 @abigailp
